EWC "Board Bound" Event - April 5, 2019

EWC’s “Board Bound” breakfast will be full of interesting and practical content to help you develop and map your board career.  The event will combine networking opportunities with relevant and topical discussion that will leave you better placed to navigate your personal governance journey.

Heather Wolf of Allegis Partners, a well known expert in diverse board recruiting and placement, will kick off the morning as our keynote speaker. Ms. Wolf will provide updates on both the pressure for and the benefits of diversity in the boardroom, and offer practical keys to success in seeking a board role. Ms. Wolf is a Managing Director in the CEO & Board Practice at Allegis Partners, a boutique executive search firm that is part of the $13 billion Allegis Group. Heather and her search colleagues live by a “diversity first” philosophy, committed to presenting candidates who will enhance the experience, geographic, age, gender and/or ethnic make-up of boards and leadership teams.  Heather graduated from Thunderbird School of Global Management with a Master of International Management, and earned a BA from Tulane University.

We’ll then transition to an expert panel, moderated by Carolyn McKinney, Chief Human Resources Officer of FHLB Pittsburgh.
