Programs

EWC has collaborated with other organizations on programs of specific interest to professional women and aspiring women leaders. These are described briefly below.

Women's Voices, Women's Votes

Supported by a grant from the Sprout Fund in commemoration of Pittsburgh's 250th anniversary, EWC has sponsored a collaborative initiative called Women's Voices, Women's Votes. This historic initiative is bringing together the members of approximately 20 professional women's organizations to connect with one another and to probe the possibility of collaborating on specific endeavors of benefit to the region and to enhance the influence of its women leaders. More Info

Other recipients have included Ann Dugan, Director of the Small Business Development Center, Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh, and Audrey Brourman, owner of A.L. Women in Leadership (WIL) is the only leadership training program in southwestern Pennsylvania devoted specifically to women. Coro is committed to preparing diverse leaders to address important issues facing southwestern Pennsylvania. WIL offers the participant an opportunity to enhance personal leadership potential within a network of people dedicated to creating positive change for women in the region. Women in Leadership is a twelve-week, part-time, evening training program designed for high-achieving women with demonstrated leadership experience in the private, public, or non-profit sectors. More Info
